The East Coast has always been on the forefront when it comes to outstanding hardcore acts. It’s time to add New Jersey’s own Batter Up on to the list of promising newbies. Their debut EP for Over Giver Music entitled When Is Rome has six tracks of sheer, slamworthy intensity. These mighty tunes are guaranteed to get even Granny two-steppin’ with the boys. Fans of bands such as Snapcase and Minor Threat will surely want to check out with Batter Up has to offer. From the opening strains of the rockin’ Tony Scarboni, these Jersey dudes are primed and ready to dropkick your happy ass into the nearest pit.
